Two solos that are subordinate to the respective music, whereby the approach and style could not be more different. Both choreographies are about listening, intuition and empathy and, above all, respect for the gigantic work of art that the music itself represents.
Aria
The piece Aria is wholly immersed in Bach's music, with each Goldberg variation possessing its unique character, exploring movements, moods, and themes. A narrative unfolds, with Aria representing one variation, symbolizing air—the essence of life.
Dear Joe is a solo intervention based on Frank Zappa's guitar solo Watermelon in Easter Hay. This improvisation based solo is a celebration of the unapologetic dancing body: an impulsive and intuitive dialogue with the music to find back the essence of self expression.

Taking a walk into a city we seek hidden sounds in the midst of the public movement. We notice obsolete objects laying on the ground. Hidden behind the many layers of the social fabric.
The project MEDITATIONS deals with obsoleteness, human and inhuman. It takes us on a journey through a series of intimate indoor and outdoor audio-somatic treatments, exploring “otherness”.
Tomaž and András will share their practice in form of a three-day performative workshop. Each day a different audio-somatic treatment will be practiced in a small group setting, inviting us to participate as givers, receivers or witnesses of a “collective bodywork”.
