Azahara Sanz Jara, born in Spain and based in Salzburg, graduated from SEAD in 2018 and has since worked as a performance artist, dancer, and choreographer with national and international institutions and companies. She is currently pursuing an MA in Choreography and Performance at JLU Giessen, continueing to develop her independent artistic practice.
shiver is a choreographic self-dialogue exploring the poetic force of the fragile, asserting itself and transforming - within a field of tension between vulnerability and strength.

how to hold as walking becomes something else becomes a space of resonance, where transformation itself turns into a choreographic principle - a continuous reordering of what has been and what can become. Not a closure in the sense of resolution, but a state of openness.

The Austrian company CieLAROQUE, under the direction of choreographer Helene Weinzierl, is among the most internationally visible ensembles in the Austrian dance scene and has received numerous national and international awards.
Luan de Lima, a long-time member of the company, has worked with many international companies and presents the solo not yet.

To conclude the festival, our guests are allowed to swing their dance leg to a DJ set by Liser & Spirit Guide. With a mix of folk music, funk, disco, and electro, there's something for everyone!
Liser and Spirit Guide are two DJs from Salzburg, known individually for their genre-crossing performances. For the tanz_house Festival 2026, they will play their first joint set.
