Am 5. November 1768 fällt mit Getöse ein Meteorit vom verdüsterten Himmel über Mauerkirchen. Die Bäuerin Apollonia Bart findet ihn anderntags. DOWNFALL lädt Gäste zuerst auf das Versuchsgelände von Lawine Torrèn nach Moosdorf ein, um einen tonnenschweren Stein in seinem Fall zu beobachten. Die seismische Erschütterung wird als Bodenchoreographie zu einem Film gefügt. Die performative Präsentation mitsamt Fels findet im SZENE Saal statt.

• Lawine Torrèn is a network of artists directed by Hubert Lepka. Together, the dancers, actors, technicians, authors, media-artists, photographers, and musicians turn lanscapes into stages for unprecedented performances. Like in film they handcraft significance by choreographic rearrangements of reality. A farm in Moosdorf close to Salzburg is their headquarter.

Durch wiederkehrende Muster versucht CieLAROQUE eine Form des Tanzes zu finden, die zur Anpassung und Flexibilität fähig ist und dabei nicht nur auf den Körper fokussiert, sondern auch auf den Bezug zu Zeit und Raum. Das Bewegungsvokabular sucht nicht nach Perfektion, sondern orientiert sich an den Ecken und Kanten, das Unvollkommene ist gewollt.

• Helene Weinzierl founded in 1995 CieLAROQUE, one of the most touring ensembles of the Austrian dance scene. In her choreographic, interdisciplinary works she often deals with socio-politically relevant themes. She has received numerous international prizes for her pieces, which are characterized by a clear, intense language of movement.

Sie exploriert ihre weibliche Urkraft – Mut, Stärke, Sinnlichkeit erwachen in Freude, in Liebe. Die Mystik dieser Choreographie wird mit Musik und Videobildern live unterstützt und verhilft der Entfesselung der einzelnen Urkräfte hin zur Ganzheit: ELYSIUM.

• Birgit Mühlmann-Wieser trained at the Laban Centre London and the London Contemporary Dance School. 2005, founding the b.m-w dance company, since then, artistic director of the company, with a focus on psychological and socio-critical themes, experimental, intermedia collaborations, intensive exchange with internationally active choreographers, dramaturges and artists from other disciplines. For her artistic work, she received the best practice award in 2019 and the Teresa Lugstein Prize in 2021.
